I’m in the process of figuring out how to add some new features to my blog, and the newest one is the one you’re seeing right now. Every Tuesday I will upload a video, snippet, or some other such thing from one of the great performers giving some advice about the instrument. I wanted to start with one of my favorite masterclass videos from the man himself: Itzhak Perlman. If you’re a student of mine, it’s doubtful that you don’t know who this guy is, as I talk about him all the time. And if you’re a professional string player, it’s impossible that you’ve never heard of him.
The following is more of a funny story than a bunch of tips on how to play, but it’s a good kickoff to my latest blog feature. Enjoy!
(Oh, also, there are spanish subtitles and I don’t know why.)
